All James Bond films James Bond is a character created by writer Ian Fleming in his James Bond series of books. Bond is a secret agent of British intelligence MI6 and is codenamed 007. In a series of films (the so-called Bondiana), he was played by actors Sean Connery, David Niven, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig. A total of 27 Bond films were made, two of which were created without the participation of EON Productions.
